COMPATIBLE COOKERS
There are many induction quality pots and pans on the market, but the pans best suited for the Dex Cook are the fully coated stainless steel and thick magnetic bottom pan.
INCOMPATIBLE COOKERS
Aluminum, all-copper or glass cookware will not work unless there is a layer underneath that has magnetic properties. Many manufacturers have begun adding a magnetic layer to the bottom of these types of pots and pans; however, it can be very thin and take longer to heat than a high-quality induction pan.
NOTE
Cast Iron pans are induction, but due to the metal content in them, they get extremely hot and reflect a large amount of heat over time, which will not be good for your countertop. Dex Cook does not recommend using this type of cookware.
COMPATIBILITY TEST
To find out if a pot or pan is compatible with your induction stove, hold a magnet under it.
If the magnet sticks to the bottom, the pot will work on an induction cooktop.
If the magnet grips the pan softly, you may not have good success with it on the stove.
If there is no attraction on the magnet, it does not contain the correct metals and does not produce heat.
Note: Many manufacturers have begun to put the “induction compatible” symbol on the bottom of their cookware or put a compatibility note on the packaging. The symbol usually looks like a horizontal coil. - CAN I ORDER THIS PRODUCT DIRECTLY AND HAVE ITS OWN INSTALLATION?
-
Yes. You can install it yourself according to our installation videos. However, as Dex Cook, we recommend that it be installed by our expert team. Moreover, this service is included in your purchase.
- DOES THE UNIT REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS?
-
We can supply 380V-220V cooktops according to your electrical infrastructure. All units must be plugged in and not wired.
- DOES THE COUNTER SURFACE GET HOT WHEN COOKING?
- The countertop surface can only heat up to reflect the heat of the pot. If you use our special equipment, no heat is reflected on the surface.
